     Johannes ten Bruggencate was born on 10 Jun 1806 in Almelo.1,3 Johannes was baptized (NH) on 15 Jun 1806 in Almelo.1 He married Aleid Vorrink on 9 Nov 1836 in Amsterdam2,3 (banns 30 Oct 1836, Amsterdam).2 He died on 2 Apr 1859 in Amsterdam (Binnengasthuis). He died after 171 days in the hospital3,4 According to the death certificate he died in the house at Achterburgwal #34 (kanton 1, buurt R). Both witnesses were living at the gasthuis, so possibly that is the same address.3

Other information:
Johannes ten Bruggencate was in 1836 a carpenter.2,5 He lived at the time of his marriage in Amsterdam.2 He and Aleid Vorrink lived in 1851 with their children Alida, Johannes, Anna, Arnoldus and Cornelia at Korte Leidsedwarsstraat 223 in Amsterdam.6,4
     He was admitted to the Binnengasthuis hospital on 13 Oct 1858, and stayed there until his death.4
