     Fannie Brodie was born in 1854 in Odessa, Russia.3,4,2 She married Aron Levison. She died on 4 Sep 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, (3063 Brighton 2nd Street). Louis Levow registered the death1, and was buried on 5 Sep 1940 in the Mt. Zion Cemetery (Abraham Stainers K.U.V. of N.Y. Path 38, Gate 10, Row 1L, grave 6) at Maspeth.1,2

She lived in 1907 with her daughter Sarah at 2 Oak Str in Johannesburg.4 Fannie Levison, Anna Korman and their daughters Sarah Levison and Edith Korman arrived in Southampton on 8 Apr 1908 from Durban, SA, with the ship 'Durham Castle' of the Union Castle Mail Steamship Company.5 Fannie immigrated on 12 Apr 1908 on the 'New York' to New York City from Southhampton, England with Anna Korman and their children Sarah Levison and Edith Korman. They were 2nd class passengers. Their contact in the US was Fannie's son John Levison. They were released to her son-in-law John Finn.4
     The relationship between Fannie Brodie and Anna Korman is unclear, but it seems likely that they are related. At immigration Anna calls John Finn her brother-in-law. They lived together in London, they travelled together, their contact address in South Africa and in New York is the same. Could Anna be Fannie's sister-in-law, as Anna's maiden name is Levenson?4,6
     At immigration John Levison is mentioned as son resp. brother of Fannie and Sarah, They are released to Fannie's son-in-law John Finn. Anna Korman's contact is Levison - Finn, she is released to her brother-in-law. Mrs Finn is mentioned as sister to Annie Sopher, she is released to her brother-in-law. All these people live at 600 E 141 Street in 1908. John mentions he is going to his sister, Mrs Finn, who in 1907 lives in the Bronx.4,7
