     Francis was from England at his marriage.2,3 He married Hester Mahieu, daughter of Jenne Mahieu,4,2 (banns Jul 1603, Leiden. His witnesses were Philippe de Veau and Raphael Roelandt his friends; hers Jenne Mahieu, her mother, and Jenne Mahieu, her sister 5.2,4,6) He died on 7 Apr 1663 in Plymouth Colony.7

Francis Cooke was a woolcomber.2
     He is on 25 Apr 1603 a witness to the banns of Raphael Roeland, who will return the favor in Jul 1603. He (as Francois Coek) is probably a sponsor at the baptism of Philippe de Lannooij, son of Jan and Marie de Lannoj, in 1603 in Leiden. Philippe will immigrate to Massachussetts on the 'Fortune.8,6' On 8 Aug 1606 they left the Walloon congregation with papers; on New Years Day 1608 they came from Norwich, again with papers. 96 Francis immigrated on 21 Dec 1620 on the 'Mayflower' to Plymouth Colony with his son John.10
Francis Cooke made a will on 7 Dec 1759. He leaves everything to his wife Hester during her life. He mentions no children, except his son John, who is to be executor.7
