     John Winslow was born on 16 Apr 1597 in Droitwich, Worchestershire, England.1 John was baptized on 18 Apr 1597 at Droitwich.2 He married Mary Chilton, daughter of James Chilton and Susannah Furner, at Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts.1,2 He died b 21 May 1674 in Boston.1,2 He was buried in the King's Chapel Burying Ground at Boston.1

Other information:

     He received an acre in Plymouth Colony as a passenger on the "Fortune." He is mentioned in the various lists of freemen and in the cattle division. He was a deputy for Plymouth to the Plymouth General court in 1652 and 1654. By 1655 he had moved his family to Boston.2
John Winslow made a will on 12 Mar 1672/73. It was proved 21 May 1674. The inventory was taken 27 Oct 1674..
It mentions his wife Mary Chilton, his son John Winslow, William Payne, son of his daughter Sarah Meddlecott, Parnell Winslow, daughter of his son Isack Winslow, his son Benjamin, his son Edward, his grandchild Susanna Latham, and her unnamed siblings, his son Edward's children, his daughter Mary Grey, 1st wife of Edward Grey; his son's Joseph Winslow's two children, his grandchild Mercy Harris' two children; his kinsman Josiah Winslow (now governor of Plymouth); his brother Josiah Winslow; his kinswoman Eleanor Baker, the daughter of his brother Kenelm Winslow. His son John Winslow to be executor.2
John immigrated on 9 Nov 1621 on the 'Fortune' to Plymouth Colony.2
