     Margaret was born s 1580 in England.¹ She married Robert Hicks.¹ She died bt 8 Jul 1665 - 6 Mar 1666 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.¹

Margaret made a will on 8 Jul 1665. It was proved 6 Mar 1665/6. It mentions her son Samuel Hicks, her daughter-in-law Lydia Hicks, her deceased son Ephraim Hicks, her grandson John Bangs, son-in-law George Watson and deceased daughter Phoebe Hicks. George Watson was granted administration of the estate. The inventory was worth £53 12s. 6d. and did not include real estate.¹ Margaret immigrated in Jul 1623 on the 'Anne' to Plymouth Colony with her children Samuel, Lydia and Phoebe.¹
     In 1623 he was granted in Plymouth Colony one acre of land as a passenger on the "Fortune," and his wife Margaret Hicks and her children were granted four acres as passengers on the "Anne." In 1627 Robert Hicks, Margaret Hicks, and Samuel Hicks, Ephraim Hicks, Lydia Hicks and Phoebe Hicks all received cattle.¹
