Family

Richard Hawes * 2 Nov 1606, + b 22 Jan 1656/57
Children
Anne was born in 1609 in England.1 She married Richard Hawes, son of Richard Hawes.1

Other information:
She immigrated with Richard Hawes in 1635 on the 'Truelove' to Dorchester.1
Richard Hawes and Ann Hawes were admitted to the Dorchester church in 1637. Richard became a freeman in 2 May 1638.1
Torrey gives [?Clapp] in brackets, for Ann's surname, but I have not been able to ascertain why. If she is the ? Clapp of 1611, daughter of Nicholas Clapp, her age is wrong on the passengerlist of the 'Truelove.' The listed references from NE Register and NYG&B Record do not contain any clue.2

Name variants: Ann Hawes (married name.)
