     Richard Osborne was born in 1612 in London, England.1,2 He (1) married Elizabeth.1 He (2) married Mary Barnard, daughter of ? Barnard, b 1677.3,2 He died on 8 Feb 1685 in Westchester, Bronx County, New York.1

Other information:
John Bedient served in Captain Richard Osborne's Company during the Indian Wars.4 Richard immigrated on 17 Feb 1634 on the 'Hopewell' to Dorchester.5
     He was in 1635 in Hingham, MA, and in 1639 in New Haven. In 1643 he wasin Fairfield, CT, and he settled before 1682 in Westchester, Bronx County, New York.6,5
     Richard deeded on 17 Nov 1682 to his son John Osborne and to his heirs all his housing and home lots, orchards, wood and timber in the town of Fairfield, together with all his uplands and meadows, his privilege in the undivided commons, and all his right and title to lands in the Colony of Connecticut, provided he pays all his debts and dues in Fairfield, and the following sums of money to his other heirs, viz.
to the five children of his eldest daughter 20s each when of age
to his daughter Priscilla's wife of Cornelius Seeley two sons 40s each and 20s to each of her two daughters when of age
to his daughter Sarah's seven children 20s each when of age
to his daughter Mary's wife of Thomas Bedient three children 40s each when of age
to his daughter Elizabeth 50s.5
     Richard quitclaimed to Thomas Bedient of Woodbury all lands in Westchester formerly possessed by Mordecai Bedient, dec'd, and Mary his wife, afterwards called Mary Townsend, and Roger Townsend; Thomas to pay his daughter Abigail £50, and two cows to Osborn's daughter Elizabeth.3
